the little bit of sunshine

Yet another pressurized day when I only typed out the first line of code for an animation assignment which dues tmr. Half way through I’m interrupted by the joy of other internet stuffs (as usual), and got a little boost of answering what’s d(ln x)/dx from a smart (but forgetful) friend of mine.

Kids nowadays are just .. well. As talk organizing partners the 21-year-olds wanted to get a Parker for the speaker. Being asked to get the souvenir glasses one could leave an internal note to all writing "We’ll get the glasses as Judy suggested and put a thankyou card between them"..

Taking a break and walking through the newly built "Visitor Gallery" gave me life again in how proud I should be being a "researcher" at the worlds’ top 20 Univ. and admired at the beautiful campus that I am working at. Somehow this lab still sucks and is not even 1/5 of the lab I used to had in my previous college, the only difference is I can now call myself the "team manager" in such-and-such proj. Cool eh, and then we can think of way to promote the robotic soccer proj. like the one we had with Robocon last year, up on mags. and news. and whatsoever.

I just missed the days with the gangs where never would I go lunching alone. Supervisor’s advice of "You’re a postgrad now and should be spending time in your office instead of the public computer barns" leave me with only Mandarin-speaking math freaks (an I don’t talk maths) who haven’t gone downtown for the past 2 mths.

Suppose that my plan of quiting the Univ. after getting a nice job still go on. Readers, if you can find a nice good job that might suit me, please advice. Consider me avaible in Jul.
