Friday, June 2nd, 2006I’m a born catholic, had my first holy communion at 8, my confirmation at 15 (and somehow, I regretted it, to confirm without serious consideration), and it’s like, I’m trying to avoid the issue coz the more I consider it the more it drags me away from the “faith”. The most common excuse I use is “God will let me discover and understand him as I grow up”. Apparently, I still haven’t grow up yet. And I love this article, which synchronizes with my thoughts:

Here’s a simple test: according to scripture (John 14:14), Jesus said “If you ask anything in my name, I will do it.” Notice there are no disclaimers, nothing about “and it has to be part of God’s Will” or “do not put God to the test” or anything.
